I believe counseling should feel like a conversation. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, with a focus on helping you work through what’s happening now and move toward where you want to be.

My career has centered on supporting people through change, challenge, and transition. Over the years, I’ve worked with adults navigating unemployment and career changes, taught individuals working toward their GED, and supported people facing homelessness and housing instability, including veterans.
My social work experience also includes hospice, where I supported individuals and families through grief, loss, caregiving, and end-of-life transitions, as well as community-based social services and nonprofit leadership.
In higher education, I provide counseling, crisis support, and wellness services to adults balancing school, work, family, financial pressures, relationships, and personal challenges. Together, these experiences have allowed me to work with people from many different backgrounds and across all stages of adulthood.

As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I also bring a personal understanding of military culture and the transitions that can accompany military and post-military life. Sometimes it simply helps to talk with someone who understands that experience without needing every part of it explained.
A Little About Me
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, finding reasons to laugh, and probably watching an episode of The Golden Girls I've already seen more times than I can count.
